As part of Nike’s spring preview we featured earlier this week, comes another sneaker to be released, the Air Max 1. After being flooded with many exclusive Air Max 1 releases over the past 6 months, it’s a welcome change to see a general release. This toned down sneaker features grey suede on the upper, with a white mesh toebox, and pale orange highlights on the sockliner, eyelets and above the toe box. It’s available now for pre-order here.

10 long years waiting, and the return has come. Reflection Eternal, aka Talib Kweli & Dj Hi-Tek, return with their sophmore album. Above is a sampler with the full video here. It features some very dope MPC pad banging from Hi-Tek in the background, and even more stunning visual effects.

Nike Air Force 1 High ‘Futura’

This upcoming seasons releases include variety, with a glance back at more traditional stylings. The dunk highs get the vintage college look, with similar OG colourways, with what looks like rip-stop nylon on the upper. Designer Futura comes up again with a couple of pairs of Air Force 1’s to add to his already impressive releases this past season. The Nike blazer gets the vintage treatment, with worn uppers and slightly yellowed midsoles. The unfortunate use of leather ruins the two pairs of Air Max Lights that will be released, in my opinion. The Air 180 also makes a return, with two colourways frizthewiz.com featured a few months ago. Ice blue with orange, or Black and Fluro yellow, both on white!

The Air Max 90 and the Lunah Maria also make an appearance, BUT the most anticipated release is that of the OG Air Mariah. This sneaker is long awaited by sneaker heads from the late 80’s and early 90’s. Compared to the ‘89 pegasus, this sneaker comes out on top in my opinion. OG goodness!!!! Enjoy!

The two heavyweights join together again to produce a vibrant two-toned, pull over jacket, or anorak. Made from light-weight, water-proof materials, it also folds down for easy storage anywhere! Not out yet, but the release will be any day now. May I suggest a camp out if you want to cop one!

Appearing on Frizthewiz.com no less than two times already, we can now officially give you the release date for these burgundy babies! Dutch sneaker spot, Patta, will release these almost exclusively on March 13. A few Nike signature stores (21 Mercer st, NYC) will be getting these too. Limited release in limited numbers. Could these be anymore limited? Somebody please hook me up with a pair of size 12’s!!!

Solebox x Saucony

A few months ago we featured one of the sneakers pictured above, the Saucony Shadow 90. This sneaker features the upper of the Shadow 6000 and the midsole of the shadow 5000, but the good news is that a release date was announced a couple of days ago, of March 20. They will be available exclusively from Solebox in Berlin, along with the Saucony A3 in a pack dubbed “Oldskool vs. Newskool”. We’ll let you know if they will be releasing online or not.

Sometimes a product comes along that makes you think, “damn that’s fresh!”, but then you start wondering about who designed the product, and who came up with the initial idea. And there’s Benny Gold. When I see a Benny Gold product, there is no doubt that there has been an incredible amount of creative energy spent, designing a product that is of the highest quality and is soooo dope at the same time. A Benny Gold design is unmissable.

These new era fitted hats are nothing but the best. The attention to detail is amazing, from the diamond pattern stitching to Gold’s signature paper plane logo. Check em out here.
